Lula Frances (Roberts) Pitman Bell, 65, 244 Sycamore St., Union City, Ohio, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 9, 1985, at the Union City Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Born April 30, 1920, in Casey Co., Ky., she was the daughter of the late Joe and Eliza (Wesley)Roberts.
Survivors include: her husband, Hubert Bell; five sons, Edgar Karl Pitman, Union City, Ohio; Laurell Pitman, Portland, Ind.; Forrest, Phil and Shearl Pitman, all of Greenville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Craven, Cincinnati,Ohio; Eva Rae Steele, Westchester, Ohio; Alphine McQueary, Cincinnati,Ohio; Ila Wesley, Eubank,Ky; and Artie Jasper, Mintonville,Ky.; four brothers, Ernest Roberts,Liberty,Ky.; Jonas Roberts, Somerset,Ky.; Solender Roberts, Jabez,Ky.; and Parker Roberts, Walltown,Ky. She was preceded in death by three sisters,Vannie Randolph, Flossie Roberts, and Bertha Roberts, and a brother, Roscoe Roberts.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Morris and Hislpoe Funeral Home in Science Hill,Ky. Paster Terry Haworth will officiate at the services an burial will be in Spaw Cemetery near Mintonville,Ky. Local arrangements were made by the Fraze-Brooks & Davis Funeral Home, Union City.
Funeral was Saturday Oct. 12, 1985 at 2 pm.
