Artie Percilla (Roberts) Dick Jasper

Artie Percilla Roberts Dick Jasper, of 7554 South Ky. 837, Mintonville, died Friday, January 2, 1998, at her residence. She was 80.

She was born December 20, 1917, in Casey County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Eliza Wesley Roberts. She was a homemaker and member of Carter Ridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Guy Lee Jasper; three sons, Eddie Logan (and Ruby) Dick of Shady Grove, William Earl "Bill" (and Gay) Dick of Windsor, and Robert "Bobby" Ernest (and Christine) Dick of Eubank; three daughters, Virginia Lee (and John) Harris of Somerset, Mary Ellen Butt of King Bee, and Ruby Beatrice (and Jerry) Peters of Somerset; three brothers, Ernest Roberts of Mintonville, Parker Roberts of Poodle Doo, and Jona Roberts of Ferguson; four sisters, Illa Wesley of Eubank and Myrtle Cravens, Eva Steele, and Alphine McQueary, all of Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Andrew Dick; her second husband, Marion Dick; a son, Millard Joe "Bud" Dick; two brothers, Roscoe and Solander Roberts; four sisters, Vannie Randolph, Flonnie Roberts, Lula Pitman Bell, and Bertha Roberts; three half-sisters, Eva Vaught, Mary Susan Wesley, and Martha Ann Haste; and six half-brothers, John, Wash, Eli, Harlan, Oscar, and Cyrus Roberts.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Owens officiating.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
