Florence Pyles White, 85, of Poolesville, died Saturday at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Dr. Elijah W. White.
She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. J. Brawner Nicholson of Rockville; Mrs. Albin F. Knight of Asheville, N.C.; and Miss F. Helen White, at home; a son, Elijah W. White, Jr. of Bethesda; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at her home in Poolesville today after 4 p.m. Services will be held there on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Monocacy Cemetery at Beallsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Poolesville.
Arrangements are by the Hilton Funeral Home in Barnesville.
