The funeral for Alma H. Solien, 83, Twin Valley, Minn., will be there at 10:30 Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church. She died Monday. Alma Henrietta Solien was born Sept. 15, 1897, near Syre, Minn., and graduated from high school at Twin Valley. She attended Moorhead State University and taught at Audubon and Nielsville, Minn., for 11 years. She attended a beauty operator's school in Fargo, and operated a beauty parlor at Twin Valley for 38 years. She was a resident of the Luther Memorial Retirement Center at Twin Valley for the past eight years.
