Gloster- Rev. James Harrison Brooks, 88, of Miami, Fla. died in Miami Saturday.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Byrd's Chapel in Franklin County.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will be at the Brown Funeral Home in Liberty this morning until time for services.
Rev. Brooks, retired, a Church of God minister, is survived by this wife, Mrs. Sallie Brooks, two sons, James of Liberty and Paul, East Flatrock, N. C.; five daughters, Mrs. Pergie Bradford, Jonesville, La., Mrs. Ruby LeBeaux, Wisner, La., Mrs. Effie Mae Freeman, Natchez, Mrs. Floy Parris, Bryson City, N. C. and Mrs. Lula Gardner, Mebane, N. C., 39 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
