Mrs. Gardner was a wonderful mother, wife, church member and neighbor. She learned how to drive for the first time after her husband, Clyde passed away.

She loved her children and grandchildren, and took many neighbors and their children under her wing. She made the best lemon pound cake. She was loved by many and will be missed by many.

On May 15, 2015, she proudly received a high school diploma from Eastern Alamance High School.
