He married Cynthia Ann Welch, FEB-27-1872 in Huntington County, Indiana. She was born in 1852 in Indiana, (daughter of John Wesley Welch and Annette "Ann" Campbell) and died FEB-19-1928 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana.

Wilborn Day Dies At Home In Iowa

Native Of Wells County Dies At Age Of 92; Burial At Huntington

Wilborn Day, former resident of Wells county, died Sunday at Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 92. He was born in Wells county February 23, 1845, and served with Co. D-Morton Rifles in the Civil war.

Two brothers, Marion, of Huntington county, and Amber, of Wells county survive. The surviving children include E. E. Day and Miss Grace Day, Marion; Mrs. Maude Fife, Hammond; Cameron Fulton, Mo.; Mrs. Maggie Swafford, Pratt, Kan.; Mrs. Charles Nichols, Montreal, Mo.; Mrs. James Briggs, Ransom, Kan.; and Mrs. Howard Zinn, Huntington.

Burial will be in Warren Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
