Custard - Fairchild
The marriage of Miss Marian Fairchild to Mr. Steven Custard of Binghamton was solemnized Saturday afternoon at four o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Fairchild. Rev. John Davis of Binghamton officiated.
The bride wore a gown of white silk chiffon and carried a shower bouquet. The decorations were pink and white.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Heinz of Binghamton. The flower girls were Miss Mary Lytle of Angelica and Lois Keller of Olean.
The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Heinz, of Binghamton, Miss Hammister and Mrs. Clair Conrad, of Holland, N. Y., Miss Mary Roberts, of Hornell, Mrs. M. F. Schuknecht, of Friendship, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Fairchild and William Fairchild of Buffalo, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Fairchild of Randolph, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Keller and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Darlington of Olean, Mrs. A. H. Ford of Belfast, Mr. and Mrs. James Taylor of Westons.

Mrs. Custard Dies In Holland Mar. 9

Mrs. Marion (spelling in obituary) Fairchild Custard, wife of Rev. Steven Custard of Holland, passed away March 9 after a long illness.
She was born in Portville March 19, 1897, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. (should be "W") Fairchild. She was the sister of the late Dr. Victor M. Fairchild of Olean.
Funeral services were held at the Holland Baptist church March 13 at 2:00 with Rev. Thomas R. Moore officiating and the remains were laid at rest in the Holland cemetery.
