Joseph Cotita, 57, 304 Second Street, Warrington, died early Thursday morning in a local hospital.

Mr. Cotita, was the owner of the Pizza House restaurant in Warrington. He was born in Bay St. Louis, Miss., but had resided in Pensacola for the past 45 years. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Warrington.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, John and Maria St. Angelo Cotita, and a brother, Peter Cotita. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Cotita, two daughters, Margaret Marchelos (Robert) of Warrington and Nancy (Frederick) Mann, of Washington, D.C.; five brothers, Frank, Sam, Phillip and Toney, all of Pensacola, and Benny Cotita of Pascagoula, Miss., four sisters, Mrs. Janet Nunnari, Mrs. Annie Villafranca, Mrs. Nancy Coury, all of Pensacola, and Mrs. Virginia Mondello, of San Francisco,, Calif., three grandchildren (Linda and Joseph Mann, Ann Marchelos), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Waters & Hibbert at 9 a.m. Saturday with Solemn High Mass at St. John’s Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. The rosary will be said at 7:30 Friday evening at the Funeral home.

Interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, 451-515 S Old Corry Field Rd, Warrington, FL.
