Nancy Cotita Coury, age 100, died May 31, 2005 at Kensington, MD.
She was the eighth of twelve children of John and Mary St. Angelo Cotita, born on March 26, 2005 qt Bay St. Louis, MS. She moved to Pensacola when she was five.
She is survived by one sister, Jeanette Cotita Nunnari, of Pensacola. She has one daughter, Mary L. (Bernard) Poppert, of Ashton, MD, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
After the death of her husband, she lived for twenty-two years in Gaithersburg, MD with her daughter. During World War II, she was an aluminum welder at N.A.S. Pensacola Aircraft Repair Facility. She had many interest, including gardening, crocheting, knitting and painting.
A funeral Mass will be held on June 3rd at St. Martin's Church. Gaithersburg, with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Springs, MD.
