"Amy L Webster, 98, of Spartansburg, RD 2, died at 8:45 pm Sunday, Feb 14, 1982, at the Corry Memorial Hospital. She was born April 7, 1883, in Garland, where she was a former resident, the daughter of Thomas J and Freelove White Lobdell. She attended the Corry Baptist Church. Mes Webster is survived by two daughters: Mrs Gertrude Snyder of Sugar Grove and Mrs Bessie Southwick of Spartansburg; three sons, Velmour Beardsley of Spring Creek, Clair Beardsley of Spring Creek, Alfred Beardsley of Sugar Grove; twenty-eight grandchildren; ninety-five great-grandchildren and forty-eight great-great-grandchildren. Her first husband, Fred Beardsley, died in 1938. Her second husband, Fred Webster, died in 1956. Nine brothers and sisters, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild died previously. Friends may call at the McKinney Funeral Home of Youngsville...and attend the funeral service there at 3 pm Wednesday with Rev Harry Rosenburg, pastor of the Centerville Free Methodist Church, and Rev Dale Minnick, pastor of the Erie Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Garland."
