PRES. F.H. PARTRIDGE'S BROTHER DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Funeral services will be held in the Twentieth Ward in Salt Lake City for George Arthur Partridge, 69, brother of Pres. Frank H. Partridge, possibly Saturday. The deceased was born in Fillmore, March 12, 1869, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Partridge, early Utah pioneers. He later moved to Salt Lake City, where he was employed for many years with the Utah Power and Light Company, resigning in 1927 to become manager and secretary of the Lyman Callister Real Estate Company.
In 1934, he left for California in an effort to regain his health. He died Wednesday in a Glendale hospital, after a long illness, according to word received by his brother. He was a High Priest in the Twentieth ward.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lucy Lyman Partridge, four sons, Scott H. Partridge of Portland, Ore.; Arthur L., Francis M., and George Arthur Partridge, Jr. of Salt Lake City; three daughters, Mrs. Paul C. Lyon of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert Marion Clawson of Berkeley, Cal.; and Mrs. David P. Langlois of Decatur, Ill; three brothers, Carlos Partridge of Sterling; Ray Partridge of Provo and Pres. Frank Partridge of Fillmore; two sisters, Mrs. Clark Kimball and Mrs. David F. Stevens of Salt Lake City and 12 grandchildren.
