DECATUR — Inez Partridge Langlois, 96, of Bakersfield, Calif., formerly of Decatur, died April 9, 2005, in Rosewood Retirement Community. At her request, there will be no memorial service. Memorials: donor's choice. Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary Funeral Directors, Bakersfield, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Langlois was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married David Percy Langlois in 1930. She spent the major part of her married life in Decatur. When her husband retired in 1967, they moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, where they lived for 15 years. In 1980, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with all of their family and friends. During their years abroad, they enjoyed traveling to many exotic places. In 1982, they returned to this country and settled in Los Osos, Calif., where they lived until her husband's death in 1991. Soon thereafter, she moved to the Rosewood Retirement Community, where she had resided the past 12 years.
Surviving are her daughters, Mary Pat Van Steenwyk of Bakersfield; Joyce Ensign and husband Jerry of Madison, Wis.; and Rebecca Moore and husband Bill of Los Angelos, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, six siblings and one granddaughter.
