ALBERT H. WIRICK DIES AT RUMMEL
Aged Resident had lived in Windber District All of Life; Burial Monday
WINDBER, March 30 -- Albert H. Wirick, aged 73, a lifelong resident of this section, died yesterday afternoon at his home in Rummel, after an illness of two years, of a complication of diseasses. He was a well-known stonemason. Mr. Wirick was a son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Ripple) Wirick, both deceased. Surviving, are his widow, Mrs. Emma (Shaffer) Wirick; and these children: Jess Wirick of Central City; Mrs. Irvin Baumgardner of Windber; Edward Wirick of Rummel; Cloyd Wirick of Johnstown; Mrs. Kore Shaffer of Rummel; Mrs. Joseph Dunn of Steubenville, Oh.; Harry Wirick of Windber; Mrs. Harry Pomroy of Windber R.D.; and Russell Wirick of Cleveland, Oh. He also leaves a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Austin Wirick of Eureka No. 40; and these brothers and sisters: Ephriam Wirick and Noah Wirick, both of Rummel; Lewis Wirick of Harrison, Pa.; Joseph Wirick of Ashtola; Jacob Wirick of Windber; and Mrs. George Wolford of Windber. Surviving also are 28 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body will be removed this evening to the home of Irving Baumgardner of 408 Eigth St., Windber. the cortege will leave the Baumbgardner home Monday afternoon for the Rummel Lutheran Church, where the body will be viewed until 2 o' clock, when services will be conducted by Rev. John A. Richter, assisted by Rev. Galen R. Blough. Internment will be in the Rummel Lutheran Church Cemetery, in charge of Lloyd Shank, Scalp Level, mortician.
