SPICELAND, Ind., May 7--Mrs. Martha Evans Perry, aged 82, died at her home here this morning at 1:10 o'clock following an illness of eight days of paralysis. She is survived by four sons, George Evans, Ed Evans, of Spiceland, John Evans, of Cicero, Ind., and Warren Evans of Shelby, Mont. Funeral services are to be conducted from the Friends church in Spiceland Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the interment to be made in Circle Grove cemetery.

LIVED IN THE DEMING NEIGHBORHOOD MANY YEARS
Mrs. Perry Bray, of this city, and Mr.and Mrs. John Evans, living west of Cicero, were at Spiceland, Monday afternoon, and attended the funeral of Ms. Martha Perry, widow of William A. Perry. Mr. Evans was a son of the deceased and Mrs. Bray was a srep-daughters. She was about eighty years of age and died at her home in Spiceland.
Other children who survive are Edgar and George Parry [sic], both of whom reside at Spiceland. Mrs. Perry and her family lived at Deming for twenty years or more and are well known in that community. She was Miss Martha Hiatt before her marriage and a sister of Charles and Albert Hiatt, who also lived at Deming most of their lives. It has been about eight years since she left Hamilton country and went to Spiceland to make her home.
