Gladys Leone Paul Hullinger, age 87, of Salt Lake City, died March 21, 2010 at a Salt Lake City Care Center.

She was born Aug. 9, 1922 in Garfield, Utah to Richard and Julia Charlotte Petersen Paul.
She married Richard Lowell Hullinger, Nov. 30, 1942 in Preston, Idaho. Richard died Dec. 29, 1993.

Gladys and Richard lived a few years in the Roosevelt area after they were married and he worked in the Gilsonite Mines. They later moved to Salt Lake City where they raised their family. Gladys enjoyed riding the back roads with Richard and especially loved the Wolf Creek pass area.

Gladys is survived by five sons, Paul (Jacquie) Alturus, Calif.; Gary (Stephanie) and Brent (Debra), SLC; Kevin (Jeannie), Mona, Utah; and Ricky, SLC; numerous grandchildren and some great grandchildren; a sister Nora Record, and a sister-in-law, Dolores Grunewald, of Roosevelt.
She was preceded in death by a baby sister, Julia and four brothers, Ralph, Lewis, Frank, and Rex Paul.

The family expresses a special thanks to Ricky, for caring for her mother since their father died.

Graveside services will be held Sat., March 27 at the Cedarview Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Hullinger Mortuary from 10-10:40 am. Condolences may be viewed and sent at www.hullingermortuary.com
