Rites Tomorrow For Local Man
Herman Robert Brown, 84, 42 - 2nd street, passed away early Monday morning at a local hospital. He was born August 9, 1871 at Menomonie, Wis. He had been an area resident since 1922.
Surviving are three sons, Lawrence, Menomonie, Wis; Redes of Carlton, and Norman at Kelso, Wash. And four daughters, Ethel, ReMona and Mrs. Wallace Mitchell, all of Cloquet, and Mrs. Leonard Tonkin, St. Paul; one brother, Louis Brown, Menomonie, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from Our Redeemer's Lutheran church with Rev. H. A. Huth officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery.
