EULA MORGAN GRANT OLD FORT - Eula Morgan Grant, 82, died Nov. 13, 2000, at Mountain Ridge Wellness Center in Black Mountain. She was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Swain County to the late George A. Morgan and Agnes Pendergrass Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar L. Grant, and three children, Ann Craig, Roger Grant and Gollie Grant. She was a homemaker and a devoted Christian, mother and grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Ross Grant of Marion and Roy Grant of Old Fort; three daughters, Mary Ann Hall of Old Fort, Nancy Hudgins of Arden and Nina Ledford of Arden; four sisters, Nora Wagoner and Beulah Wagoner of North Wilkesboro, Mildred Mashburn of Bryson City and Bessie Harris of Old Fort; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren: The funeral services held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Westmoreland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Davistown Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home her daughter, Mary Ann Hall, in Old Fort.
