Born in 1941 in Bryson City, NC to the late Oscar and Eula Grant, he later moved to Old Fort as a child. The last thirty years of Rev. Grant’s life were devoted to pastoring churches and serving the Lord.
Left behind is his wife of 53 years, Edith Stockton Grant; sons Mike Grant and wife Priscilla, and Greg Grant and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Amber, Toby, Jake, and Wesley Grant, all of Marion. Also surviving are sisters Nancy Hudgins and husband Carrol, and Nina Ledford and husband Wade of Asheville; and a brother, Roy Grant and wife Deb of Old Fort.
The family will be meeting at his home at 350 Stockton Road, Marion. To honor his requests, private graveside services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Davistown Church Cemetery.
