Henry J. Bootsma Dies in Hanford
Just three hours after he got off the train from St. Louis, Henry J. Bootsma, brother of Mrs. K. Van Zante, died Saturday night at the Van Zante home. He had been in ill health and Mrs. Van Zante had gone back to Missouri to bring him to Hanford.
Mr. Bootsma was a native of Iowa. He is survived by his son, Donald H. Bootsma, member of the Royal Canadian Air Force; three sisters, Mrs. Van Zante, Miss Dora J. Bootsma of Iowa, and Mrs. Helene Van Gorp, also of Iowa. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Scientist.
He was married to Grace B. Lamphier on July 03, 1908 in New York. She died in 1917 and is buried in Monroe County, New York.
Funeral services are to be held at the Peoples' Undertaking Parlor Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Hanford Cemetery.
