Daniel Edward Roach, son of Edward and Catherine (Madigan) Roach was born on July 26, 1900 at Lisbon, North Dakota.

On November 26, 1925 he married Leona Oestreicher at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. They lived on the family farm in Springer Township most of their lives. Daniel was a farmer, carpenter and construction worker.

Daniel, age 67, a lifelong resident of Lisbon died on April 7th at Lisbon Community Hospital from a three month illness.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, David and James of Lisbon, and Gerald of Laurel, Montana; one sister, Mrs. Edythe Eddy of
Absarokee, Montana; and six grandchildren.

Last rites were said for Daniel on Tuesday, April 9th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Al O'Donoghue officiating.

Acting pallbearers were Alfred Holm, Gene Maddocks, Louis Maddocks, Robert Billing, Edward Schmit, and Edward Carroll.

Interment followed at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.
