Mrs Millie Lucy Hearn was born in Ark., June 1, 1877 and died suddenly Dec 10th, 1955 at her home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 5 mos. and 10 days.
She was married to John Henry Hearn in 1894 who preceded her in death in 1949. To this union 4 children were born, one daughter preceding her in death. She was united to the Baptist Church early in life and remained a faithful Christian until death.
She is survived by one son, Lather of Tempe, Arizona; Gertha May, Kansas City, Mo., and Dela Moody, Mtn Home, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Mrs Eler Marrow of Okla., 4 brothers, Walter, Mart, Robert and William Lucy of Arkansas, besides several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held December 13th at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Rev. Charles H. Duncan of Calico Rock officiating. Casket bearers were Bud Lucy, Jesse Jeffery, Bill Stapleton, Howard Moody, Karl Suter and Junior Dry. Burial was in Staggs Cemetery, north of Calico Rock with Hall Funeral Home in charge of arrangements

She is buried between Robert H. Hearn and Hettie Parlee Hearn. All three markers are alike. Markers are stamped DeVorss Mortuary.
