Rites Held Saturday For Edwin H. Stecker
Funeral services were held Saturday for Edwin H. Stecker, 62, from St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed church. He died at his home near Millhome Thursday evening, following a brief
illness. The Rev. E. L. Worthman was in charge of the services and burial was made in the Rockville cemetery.
He was born in Schleswig March 9, 1894, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Stecker, and in 1914 married Miss Adele Berth. They located in Kiel and in 1945 moved to the present home on Highway 32 east of Kiel. He was employed by the H. G. Weber Co. in Kiel.
Surviving are his wife; four sons, Elmer of Oshkosh and Willard, Melvin and Earl of Kiel; daughter, Mrs. Clyde Fitch of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Walter of Kiel and Milton of Sheboygan; and nine grandchildren.
