WILLIAM JOHN STECKER

W. J. Stecker Dies Saturday
Funeral services for William John Stecker, aged 71, who passed away at his home in Sheboygan on Saturday afternoon at 1:10 o'clock, after a lingering illness, were held at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Robert H. Kroos Funeral Home in Sheboygan, with the Rev. E. H. Wessler officiating. Interment was made in the Rockville cemetery.
Mr. Stecker was born in Manitowoc county September 15, 1868, and attended the rural school. He lived on the homestead farm in the town of Schleswig for 51 years and in 1915 moved to Sheboygan.
The deceased was employed at the H. C. Prange Company for 11 years and worked at the Sheboygan Dairy Products Company as night engineer until his retirement in 1934. On November 25, 1890, he married Miss Anna Steinberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Friedrich Steinberg, of the town of Schleswig.
Survivors are his widow; three sons, Edwin and Milton of Sheboygan and Walter of Fond du Lac; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two daughters preceded him in death.
