ANNA STECKER

Mrs. Anna Stecker, widow of William Stecker of Sheboygan, died suddenly at 6:45 a.m. Friday at her home. The deceased was born in the town of Herman on August 15, 1868, the daughter of Wilhelm and Augusta Steinberg. She attended the rural school and was employed in Milwaukee for a few years.
After her employment in Milwaukee she returned to the farm home until November 25, 1890, when she was united in marriage with Mr. Stecker, and the couple located on a farm near Kiel. In 1915 the couple moved to Sheboygan, where Mr. Stecker died December 23, 1940.
Following are the survivors: three sons, Edwin and Milton of Sheboygan, and Walter of Portage; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. David Raquet, and two brothers, Herman and Louis Steinberg, all from Kiel.
Funeral services were conducted this Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the Robert H. Kroos Funeral Home, with the Rev. E.H. Wessler, pastor of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church officiating. Burial was made in the Rockville cemetery.
