Mrs. Genevieve A. Cook, 87, died Sunday at the home of a grandson, Duane L. Dee, in Layton, of natural causes.

Mrs. Cook was born April 25, 1888, in Manti, Utah, a daughter of Niels W. and Mary Luke Anderson.

On Aug. 7, 1910, she was married to James W. White in Manti. They were later divorced. She was married to Thomas F. Cook on Feb. 2, 1925, in Ogden. He died May 24, 1939.

She lived in Manti and Salt Lake City before coming to Ogden in 1915. Since 1973, she had lived in Ogden and in Layton with her grandson.

She was educated in Manti and was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elwood H (Melba W.) Drysdale, Mrs. Kenneth G. (Ruth) Boyle, both of Ogden; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. C. P. (Delida) Walker, Laguna Beach, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel.

Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment in the Autorest Memorial Park.
