MRS. JESSE OLDHAM
Mrs. Jesse Oldham, 58, of Fishertown, died the morning of Aug. 16, at Windber Hospital of a heart condition. She had been a patient at the hospital for the past six weeks.
She was born Feb. 8, 1891, at Woodbury, the daughter of Rufus and Leora Kanode.
She was married to the Rev. Jesse Oldham, March 4, 1924.
She is survived by her husband; two sons and two daughters, Jesse Oldham, Jr, Martinsburg; Martha, Samuel and Ruth, at home; three brothers, John and Ira, Curryville; three sisters, Mrs. Avery Kanode, of Martinsburg; Heraman Miller, Altoona; Mrs. David Nissely, Roaring Spring, and Mrs. Ruth Launer, Mifflintown.
Membership was held in the Brethren in Christ Church at Spring Hope.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Spring Hope church, the Revs. Howard Feather and Andrew Flagenweit officiating.
Interment was in the Reformed cemetery at Fishertown under the direction of the Blackburn Funeral Home.
