Clinton Daily Democrat, May 2 2000 - Ernest Glen Savory, 90, Clinton, died Saturday, April 29, 2000, at his home. He married Mary C. Kern in Clinton on September 24, 1996, who survives of the home. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Lula, and four sons, Ivan Savory, Sterling Savory, Gary Savory and Carlson Savory. Survivors besides his wife include one son, Winston Savory, Post Falls, Idaho; two daughters, Cheryl Shipplet, ElDorado Springs, and Carol Savory, South Carolina; six stepsons, Robert Pulse, Roselle, Illinois, William Pulse, Arlington, Texas, David Pulse, Las Vegas, Nevada, James Pulse, Boulder City, Nevada, Joseph Pulse, Bedford, Texas, Michael Pulse, Stillwater, Oklahoma; two stepdaughters, Donna Bixenmann, Grand Island, Nebraska, Carolyn Kahn, Woodridge, Illinois; two half-brothers, Jessie Justice, Clinton, and Harold Savory, Cushing, Oklahoma; three half-sisters, Dolly Owsley, Clinton, Sarah Ann Wilson, Cushing, Oklahoma, Virginia McCormich, Drumright, Oklahoma; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, plus several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Consalus Chapel, Clinton.
