Mr. Erwin Sims, a well known young citizen of the eastern portion of the county died at his home Wednesday, of typhoid fever. He was a good, upright man and enjoyed the confidence of all who knew him. He was the oldest son of Mr. Seaborn Sims and was about 30 years of age. He leaves a widow, who was a Miss Dees. Among the surviving brothers and sisters are Mr. Jesse Sims and Mrs. Lawrence Catoe. It will be recalled that it was only a few weeks ago Mr. Sims lost a brother, Mr Benjamin Sims, who was a victim of the same disease. The remains were buried at Fork Hill church Thursday.
