The funeral for Frances Lee Jenkins, 96, Pennsylvania Ave., Shenandoah, will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Kyger Funeral Home, LLC of Shenandoah.
The Revs. Stephen Creech and Elinor R. Dalton will conduct the service.
Burial will be at Coverstone E.U.B. Cemetery in Shenandoah.
Mrs. Jenkins died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997, at Camelot Health & Rehabilitation Center in Harrisonburg.
She was born May 13, 1901, in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Walter Newman and Ada Eppard Rucker.
On May 18, 1935, she married Harry Jenkins, who died Oct. 18,
1964.
She is survived by a sister, Nellie Bazzle, Jacksonville, Fla.; and
a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 7-9 this evening at the funeral
home.
Memorial donations may be made to Christ United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
