B, 190th Pennsylvania Infantry, May 31, 1864, but he is not found on the roster of that or any other company in the 190th.

After the war, he married Anna Elizabeth Durham and fathered Myrtle M. (b. 1868 - married a Devore) and Edward (b. 1871). He lived with the Crum family in Duncannon, Perry County, for the last seventeen years of his life and was the last surviving member of Co. B, 13th Pennsylvania Reserves.
