Charles H. Chronister

Charles H. Chronister. 79. of 1493 Center Mills Road, Aspers, died Wednesday at The Gettysburg Hospital.

He was bom in York Springs and resided in Adams County his entire life. He was a son of the late John E. and Emma A. Herman Chronister

He had been employed by Zeigler Bros. Feed Mill, Gardners, for 19 years and Duffy Mott Co. Inc., Aspers, for nine years before retir- ing in 1975.

He was a member of York Springs United Methodist Church and the Moose lodge No. 1526 of Gettysburg.

He is survived by his wife, the former Florence L. Bly, to whom he was married for 55 years; one daughter, Audrey L. Maust of Aspers; one son, Gilbert E. Chronister of Biglerville; one sister, Estella Hoke of York Springs; two brothers, Elmer H. Chronister of Gettysburg and Ralph L. Chronister of York Springs; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the York Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. David L. Brinker officiating.

Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery.

Friends may coll at the Dugan Funeral Home in Bendersville on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
