Sarah Elizabeth Nelson, the daughter of John and Eliza Sauls, was born near Dixon, MO, May 24, 1859, and departed this life to be with Jesus on March 18, 1938, age 78 years, 9 months and 21 days. The deceased was united in marriage to Flower Nelson. To this union 9 children were born; the husband, three daughters and one son having preceeded her in death. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Minnie Baugh and Mrs. Anna Robertson of Granite City, Illinois and Mrs. Emma Bell of Denison, Iowa; two sons, Charles Nelson of Afton, Missouri and Tade Nelson of Granite City, Illinois; thirty-five grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren besides other relatives.
