Mr and Mrs George Haessly observed the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage Sunday by attending the seven-thirty Mass at St. Ambrose church, which was in their honor and attended by their children, grand children and other relatives. They received the blessing from Rev Father Edwin Oewieja. A reception for relatives and friends was held at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, the Clarence Hoffmans with whom they make their home. Mr and Mrs Haessly were married at Campbellsport, Oct 1, 1895. They have three children, Raymond Haessly of Green Bay, Mrs John (Esther) Sandberg of Mountain and Mrs (Dorothy)Hoffman and 10 grandchildren all of whom were present for the celebration.

Daughter Norma Haessly b April 1, 1896. She died of convulsions related to tetanus on June 11, 1900.
