Roy Lynwood 'Woody' Griffith, 67, of Stanley, died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.VA.
He was born on July 30, 1940, in Luray and was a son of the late Roy Erskine and Elsie Mae Moyer Griffith.
Mr. Griffith was a veteran of the United States Army.
On Sept. 20, 1963, he married the former Gail Nancy Williams, who died on Oct. 11, 2002.
He is survived by two daughters, Laurie L. McKenzie of Luray and DAna K. Nealis of Stanley; two sons, Jason Allen and Brandon Erskine Griffith, both of Luray; a brother, Wayne Griffith of Luray; a sister, Jean Waters of Winchester; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
