Lena Belle Waters, 94, of Luray, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, in Luray.
Mrs. Waters was born March 7, 1916, in Luray, and was the daughter of the late Peter Simon Dovel and Annie Eline (Price) Dovel.
She was a member of Free Grace Baptist Church.
On April 18, 1936, she married James Ralph Waters, who preceded her in death June 28, 2002.
Survivors include two daughters, Maxine W. Baker of Luray and Bonnie J. Shenk of Hurst, Texas; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty L. Waters and husband, James Ralph Waters; two brothers, Roy F. Dovel and Charles Dovel; two half brothers, Harry Dovel and William Frazier; and a sister, Ada Waters.
Pastor Ron Carr will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24. Burial will be at Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
