Donald C. Linebrink, 81, 1021 Ralston.Ave., died Friday at 11:18 p.m. at his home. He was born Dec. 31, 1918, in Defiance County, the son of William and Sarah (Durham) Linebrink. In 1946, he married Erma Jean Leidy, who survives. He was a a truck driver With Defiance Grocery Co., retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Defiance Senior Center and Retired Teamsters Local 105.

Also surviving are two sons, David of Maumee and Bill, Defiance; three brothers, Paul and James, both of Defiance and Clarence, Albuquerque, N.M.; and six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Preceding him in death were two daughters, Nancy and Donna; a brother, George; and a sister, Evelyn Workman. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the church with Rev. Donald Luhring officiating. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Preferred memorials are to the church or Hospice The Caring Way of Defiance.
