OAKWOOD - Mrs. Evelyn F. Workman, 72, of Rt. 1, Oakwood, died at 9:05 p.m. (Indiana time) June 28 in the Anthony Wayne Living Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 28, 1915, in Defiance the daughter of William C. and Sarah Ann (Durham) Linebrink. In 1940, she married Francis Leon (Fuss) Workman, who died on Oct. 27, 1987. She attended school in Defiance County. She was a member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church and its SPI Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Oakwood Senior Citizens; She was formerly employed at the Dickey Manufacturing Company in Oakwood and the Stokley Canning Factory in Paulding.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Roughton, Oakwood and Irene Schultz of Oklawaha, Fla.; a son, Rev. Francis Workman of Temple, Texas; four brothers, Donald, Paul and James Linebrink of Defiance and Clarence Linebrink of Austin, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother George Linebrink and two son-in-laws, Rollin Roughton and Bill Schultz.

Services were Saturday at the church with the Rev. John Ash and Rev. Mark Wolff officiating. Burial was in Little Auglaize Cemetery in Melrose. Taylor Funeral Home in Oakwood was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the church or the American Heart Association.
