A native of California, Mr. Lord moved to St. Helena from Riverside where he had been employed as a vulcanizer for R. C. Brewer Company.
In St. Helena, he worked 16 years for the Champion Nursery and was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sanitarium.
Survivors include his widow, Esther Lord, Sanitarium; two daughters, Mrs. Ailene Behney, Richmond; Mrs. Kathrine Perez, Sanitarium; two brothers, Hardy Lord, Angelus Oaks, Calif.; Robert Lord, Whittier; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
