The remains of Mrs. Nancy Haskins, relict of the late W.A. Haskins, were brought here for burial on Wednesday, the 21st inst.

Mrs. Haskins died at the residence of her son, Joseph, in San Francisco. She was eighty-one years old, and leaves eight children.

W.A. Haskins and wife crossed the plains in 1849 and arrived in St. Helena that year, settling on the place owned by Mr. Chas. Krug. They were accompanied by Judge Crouch of Napa, who took up his residence with them. Mr. Haskins was Justice of the Peace and railroad agent in St. Helena for several years. He died about nine years ago.

The following pioneers acted as pallbearers at Mrs. Haskins's funeral: M. Vann, Jas. Cruey, D.B. Carver, H.A. Pellett, Chas. Krug and J.K. Hall.
