Mr. Dysart died Monday in Plainveiw Hospital and Clinic after an illness of two weeks.
Mr. Dysart at one time was in the insurance and abstract business at Wellington. Later he moved to Amarillo and came to Plainview in 1923.
Here he was a partner in the Harder & Dysart insurance firm for 21 years. In 1953, he became associated with his son, William Dysart, in the Dysart Co.
He was a member of the Wellington High School Class of 1896, A member of the City Council of Plainview for 13 years. He was a steward of the First Methodist Church. Mr. Dysart was a member of the board of the Plainview Hospital and a charter member of the Senior Golf Association. He also was a member of the Khiva Temple of the Shrine and a 32nd Degree Mason.
Mr. Dysart is survived by his wife; a son, William Dysart; two brothers, Charles Dysart of Clayton, New Mexico and Carey Dysart of Mobeetie; two sisters, Mrs. J.W. Later and Mrs. A. Holcomb of Wellington and one child.
