Interment rites for Carey Allen Dysart will be held 3 p.m. today from the First Baptist Church in Mobeetie with the Rev. Charles Uzzle, pastor, the Rev. L.T. Fields, pastor of First Baptist Church of Forrest, New Mexico and the Rev. C.C. Lamb, pastor of Mobeetie Methodist Church officiating.

Mr. Dysart, born February 9, 1881 in Ellis County, died 9:45 p.m. Friday in his home, seven miles west of Mobeetie.

The deceased moved to Wellington in 1889 and graduated from Wellington with the class of 1896 and then to Mobeetie in 1916 , where he had resided on a farm since that time. He was senior deacon in Mobeetie First Baptist Church and for a number of years was chairman of the board. He also served on the school board for a number of years.

On June 28, 1959, he and his wife celebrated a golden wedding anniversary.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie: two daughters, Mrs. Alwyn Savage of Hereford, Mrs. A.B. McPherson of Amarillo; three sons, Elwyn of Dalhart; Norman of Amarillo, David of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Later of Wellington, Mrs. Jennie Holcomb, also of Wellington; and one brother, Charlie of Clayton, New Mexico.

Burial will be in Mobeetie Cemetery.
