Former Resident of Houston Dies in California
Messages were received here Monday, July 19 of the death of Joseph Stribling Farr, son of the late Richard and Frances Atkinson Farr, of Houston.
He attended school here then joined the navy, and after retirement he lived in San Diego, later married and moved to Corning near Sacramento, where he and his wife had a mobile home court. With failing health they moved to Napa where he passed away. Survivors are his wife, one brother, Eddie Dean Farr, Pontotoc Nursing Home, one daughter, Mrs. Dora Mae Roberts, Redwood City, Calif., and three grandchildren; two nephews of Sunnyvale and Fontana, also several cousins here in Houston.
