Sarah Ann Smith was born the daughter of George William Smith and Mary Ann Caform on July 12, 1839 in Coshocton, Ohio. She was married to Alexander Kint on March 31, 1859 in Spencer, Owen County, Indiana. They were parents of Josephine Kint died age four buried Terre Haute Indiana; Nancy Catherine Kint married John Smith Bailey and is buried this cemetery; Rebecca Angeline Kint married George William Dilts and is buried this cemetery; William Riley Kint buried in Indiana; Ida Ellen Kint married Lewis Bergstrom and is buried this cemetery; Joseph Foreman Kint buried this cemetery. She was married to John Wesley Ramsey on November 6, 1889 in Independence, Iowa. He died November 30, 1897 and is buried in the Upper Spring Grove Cemetery.

~Obit~Sarah A. Smith was born in Coshocton, Ohio, July 12, 1839. She was united in marriage to Alexander Kint in 1859 and with him came to Iowa in 1874, locating near Troy Mills. To them were born two sons, William and Joseph Kint, and four daughters, Josephine Kint, Mrs. John Smith Bailey, Mrs. George Dilts, and Mrs. Louis Bergstrom. Mr. Kint died in 1877 and two daughters also have passed away. In 1889 the widow was united in marriage to John Wesley Ramsey, who died in 1897. She lived a faithful christian life and was baptized by Elder Cross in 1878. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and is survived by two daughers and two sons, besides other relatives and many friends. Death claimed her Tuesday evening, May 16. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 18, from the Christian church at Troy Mills, being conducted by Rev. Lyburn M. Starr, of Marion, her former pastor.
