TREMONT - Harold Stuber, 91, formerly of Tremont, Ill., passed away at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at the home of his daughter in Wentzville, Mo.
Surviving are one son, Joel (Mary) Stuber of Deer River, Minn.; five daughters, Rebecca (David) Cordes, Connie (Tom) Pflederer, Sharon (Paul) Petrov, Paula (Rich) Thieme and Heidi Stuber, all of the St. Louis area; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Nelson (Ella) Stuber of Morton, LaVern "Jug" (LaDonna) Stuber of Tremont and Paul "P.J." (Barb) Stuber of Tulare, Calif.; and three sisters, Nola Koch of Tremont, Loreen Haring of Pasadena, Calif., and Wrena Hill of Sandston, Va.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 8, 2009; one son, John; one granddaughter; and five brothers, Lester, Hilmer "Hap," Eugene, Glenn and Floyd.
Harold was a member of Northfield Christian Fellowship Church in Tremont, where his funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, with Tom Pflederer officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, also at the church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.
