Ruby Ardelia Ashford, Age 75, of Miami, passed away
Saturday March 7th in Phoenix. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma,
Mrs. Ashford was a homemaker, mother and grandmother
and had been a resident of Miami for more than 50 years.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10th at Miles
Mortuary in Miami. Burial was in Pinal Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Edgar of Globe and Robert of
Miami. Four grandchildren, Trena Sims and Brain Grantham
of Globe. Melanie Ashford of California and Kevin Ashford of
Miami. One grandchild, Cole Grantham of Globe. Brothers,
Gerald, Jesse and Ira Pirtle and Ray Rockow. Sisters, Phyllis
Smith, Marie Tucker and Ivalene Shannon, all of Globe-Miami.
