He was the son of Neal Henry Ezell, Sr. and Rhoda EttaV Foy. He married Edna Leoma Jones February 10, 1951 in Amite County, MS. They had four children. Edna was the daughter of Henry Edgar Jones and Minnie Leoma Wodkins. Edna was born in Tishomingo County, MS. Cecil was employed by Johns Manville of Waukegan, IL for over forty years. He retired when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 1993.
