Leola Chavis Bolin, 87, of Wauchula, Fl., died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002 in Arcadia, Fla.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 17, at Curry Raley Funeral Home
with the Rev. Doug Williams and the Rev. Brad Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in
Joshua Creek Cemetery in Arcadia, Fla.
Born in Orangeburg County, she was a resident of Hardee County since 1956, coming
from North. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Zolfo Springs Church of
God.
Survivors include two daughters, Delores Bolin-Hutto of North and Gail Bolin-Hines of
Arcadia; five sons, Benson Bolin of Auburndale, Fla., Howard Bolin, Clarence Bolin, Earl
Bolin, all of Wauchula, and Roy Bolin of Ona, Fla.; two brothers, Bennie Chavis of
Columbia, and C.H. Chavis of Gaston; six sisters, Bessie Wiseman of Columbia, Lessie
Williams, Louise Chavis, Blanche Williamson Sadie Browne, all of Neeses, and Lurline
Williams of North Carolina; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-greatgrandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at the chapel of the Curry Raley
Funeral Home in Wauchula.
