Mrs. Eva Devine Hornbeck, 54, wife of Emmett Hornbeck, Wegee Pike, Shadyside, died Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Bellaire City Hospital where she had been a patient 10 days. She was born in England, July 6, 1905, a daughter of Stephen and Sarah Cotterall Carr, and was a member of the Bellaire Salvation Army.
Surviving are her husband, three sons and a daughter, Thomas, Bellaire, Harry Jacob at home, Richard, Glendale, and Mrs. Ida Linquist, Bellaire; four brothers and seven sisters, William, St.Joe, Joseph and Steve, Wheeling, Michael, Wintersville, Mrs. Hannah Oden, Wheeling, Mrs. Elizabeth Jacovidis, Wintersville, Mrs. Hilda Francis, Warwood, Mrs. Laura Blake, Power, Mrs. Mary Wyatt, Elm Grove, Mrs. Virginia Metz, Oakland, Calif., and Mrs Florence Staton, Norfolk, Va. and 17 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Walter C. Bauknecht and Son Funeral Home, Bellaire. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in charge of Capt. Edward Holmberg of the Salvation Army Corps. Burial will be in Powhatan Cemetery.
