Florence M. Staton, 71, died July 24, 1990, in a nursing home.

Mrs. Staton, a native of Ohio, was a member of Fairmont Park United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Leslie E. Staton; a daughter, Paula L. Honaker of Norfolk; two sisters, Hilda Frances of Fayetteville, N.C., and Virginia Carr of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Steven Carr of Moundsville, W.Va.; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Karl L. Crowe. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence.
